BLACKJACK RULES

Blackjack.
Following you can read some aspects related to the game of Blackjack. As you will observe, the terms referred to in this manual are for people who possess a slight knowledge of the world of cards and in particular, the game of blackjack.

- Most of the player's decisions will depend on the cards received in the dealer’s hand.
When these cards are 4, 5 or 6, these cards are called for him "busting". This is because the probability is that the other card of the dealer is 10. If it is thus, we can think that the total of the dealer's cards are 14, 15, or 16. In this case, the dealer will have to take more cards, since the regulations state they must take more cards when their two first two cards equal less than seventeen. We can assume then (although never with total security) that the dealer may have another 10. By having a total of 14, 15, or 16, it is probably that this will cause the dealer to go beyond 21.
Therefore, if you discover the dealer has cards of the value of 4, 5, and 6 they are called "Busting cards to the dealer", and constitute a good opportunity to remove house advantage from the game. If the dealer receives one of these cards, then is advisable to double or to split.

- Splitting of a Pair.
When the two first cards that dealer gives to you are equal, you have the option to split them. When is it good to do this? A general rule- always split aces or eights.
Let's say for example that your first cards are two eights.
If you split them (which is a good idea), then you will be playing with two different hands, initiating each one with an eight.
Why is splitting the eight a good idea? According to the theories of probability you could obtain two hands of eighteen instead of conserving an annoying 16 that you had originally.
Also you can consider splitting when you see the dealer's cards and find out if these are cards are "busting". If the dealer has "busting" cards, separating a hand can give you a double-edged weapon.

- Action To double:
The action of doubling or "doubling down" consists of increasing your bet when you visualize a good opportunity. One of the more common "good opportunities" happens when the dealer has a "busting" card. This concept already explained previously, is an excellent opportunity for the player to double. Most of the casinos will allow a double when your hand adds up to 9, 10 or 11. If your hand is as described and the dealer has a "busting" card, to double is the best option. If this it is not the case, you decide if you should double. It is always better to double when you have 11, since this hand offers you favorable doubling conditions. Nevertheless, avoid this strategy when the dealer has an Ace, because if the dealer then obtains 21 the house will win, even though you also you have 21. As you can observe, blackjack is a game that is based on statistics. This is because the dealer has pre-established rules they must abide by (if their two first cards add less than 17 they must receive additional cards). And so, we can use these statistics to our advantage, but that does not mean that we are going to win with complete certainty. It is necessary to walk with eyes wide open when gambling in blackjack, as with almost all other games of chance.
