Champion Blackjack Online - How to Play

Click here to play Blackjack recommended by Championblackjack.com!

The session of Blackjack will begin when the player places his bet.
In order to place your bet in the table of the program, simply click on the card to show that you wish to bet.
Also you can return to click in the same place and then another card will be placed on the previous card. Then, you must click on the button to distribute and only then will you receive your two first cards.
Immediately afterwards the dealer will deal itself two cards, and will reveal one of them. In this the dealer will have a revealed card and a card that is unknown.
There is a fundamental aspect that many people do not learn when trying to understand the game and that aspect is the true objective of the game. Many people think erroneously that the objective of the game consists of obtaining a hand that approaches the maximum of 21 without going over.
Although this is part of the rules, it is not the game’s true objective. Its real objective consists simply of beating the dealer. All that happens is that it is easier to beat the dealer with a hand that approaches 21.
But you should not fall into that trap. You must apply the correct strategy of Blackjack.

Since you have your cards and the dealer has theirs, you can decide how to act. You have several options, including the more commonly used choices of "to hit" and "to stand".
"To hit" simply consists of asking the dealer to draw another card to add to your hand, while "to stand" consists of leaving your hand as it is, thus hoping to beat the dealer. Other options exist such as "splitting" your cards and "doubling down".

You can split two cards when these have the same value. When doing it, you will be literally separating each card in order to create a hand with each one of them. Let us say that you receive two 8's.
Since both of the eights add to 16 (which is not a very good hand), you are better to separate them to begin two different hands with 8 in each one.
This way you will have the opportunity to obtain a 10 to become 18. When you split, you must place a second bet equivalent to your original bet on this second hand. The program does this automatically.

If you wish to split your eight, the dealer will give you a second card to each one of your two hands initiated with an eight.
Then, the dealer will ask you what wish to do with your first hand, until your hand goes to 21 or you decide to stand.
The dealer will then deal cards for your second hand and will ask you once again what you wish to do. Your other options, besides to hit, to stand, or to split, consists of "doubling down".
After you receive your two cards, if you have a hand of 9, 10 or 11, then you can double the bet that you placed on the table.

The player can choose to double if he thinks that he has good probabilities of obtaining a good hand after another card is dealt. After doubling you will be able to obtain one more card.
By this, if you have 10, then you run the risk of receiving 2 and being stuck on a terrible hand of 12. The moment to choose whether to double is when your first two cards add to 10 or 11, since you can hope that the following card is 10, obtaining therefore 20 or 21.
In order to decide if you should double, it is important that you take note of the dealer’s card.
If the cards of dealer are "busting" (a visible card of 4,5 or 6, which suggests a possible total hand of 14, 15 or 16, are reasons why it is probable that the hand will go beyond 21) the double will be surer.
