After you double, if this is what you decided to do, the dealer can only give you one more card and continue with the following hand.
If you have a pair that you could split, the program will notify you of this option.
If you double, the original bet will go to the card and the program will place an amount equivalent in the adjacent picture of bets to the other cards.
You will be then playing two hands, and it will be as if they were different hands with the normal rules of Blackjack.
The only exception of which, if you separated the aces, you will only receive one additional card. If that card is ten, the total value of that hand will be 21; nevertheless that hand will not be considered as a Natural Blackjack.

This is one of the most important variables that allow you to reduce the advantage of the House. The problem is that often people do not take advantage of this option! Not to double when you have opportunity to do it, you cause the advantage of the House to rise considerably. When a player has the opportunity to double, it is natural to think: "That means that I have a good opportunity to win, and as I am going to win anyway, I do not need to double, I am satisfied to win without having to risk more".
You can see by this many players do not double even though they would agree that they should to do it.
